General Information



GUARANTEE
The guaranteed number of guests is to be submitted to the Catering Office no later than ten days prior to the event. The Ramada Inn will invoice for the guaranteed number or the actual number of guests in attendance, whichever is greater.  The Ramada Inn will prepare and set for five percent (5%) above the guaranteed number.  Should the hotel not receive a guarantee, then the original number expected will be charged as the guarantee.



MENU SELECTION
Please consider this... every one of your guests is special and as such, have special needs, children's portions, vegetarian meals, food allergies or dietary restrictions.  The Ramada Inn can take care of all of these special needs and more.  Menu selections are to be submitted to the Catering Office at least one month prior to your function in order to guarantee selected items.  To ensure that the highest quality of food is served at your function, it is imperative that you adhere to the confirmed time allotment for meal functions.


BANQUET PRICES
Prices are current and are guaranteed for up to three months from booking date and are subject to change thereafter.  All prices are subject to 8% Food Tax, 10% Beverage Tax, 7% Goods & Services Tax and a 15% Service Charge unless otherwise stated.



TENTATIVE BOOKINGS
The Hotel will hold tentative bookings for a one-week period only; at which point the convenor or representative will be required to confirm the booking.  If the hotel is unable to contact the convenor, the space will be released for sale.  In the meantime, should anyone else inquire for the same date(s), the hotel will then contact the convenor as they will be offered first priority.



DEPOSITS, PAYMENTS & CANCELLATIONS
A $500.00 deposit (non-refundable) is required at the time of booking.  Please note that 50% of the estimated cost of the function must be received thirty days prior to the function date.  The balance of the estimated cost of the function is due ten days prior.  Any outstanding balance must be settled on the evening of the function. All deposits are non-refundable if the event is cancelled.
